We all understand the frustration users experience when software malfunctions.

My problems began with after I switched to a bright new MBP and copied my iTunes library onto it.

All songs that were 100% legally acquired at Google Play store suddenly started cutting off early; after 3 minutes and 6 seconds to be more precise.

We all know Apple loves Google so at first I thought it was a funny joke and completely removed all Google songs from iTunes and then reimported them. Alas, with the same results.

After hours of fruitless search I found a hint here

Unfortunately iTunes has changed since 2012 and creating a new library was different (hold down the Option key while starting it), the general direction was correct.

1. Create a new iTunes library
2. Reimport all your songs and books
